Why Gentle Touch

Why Caregivers Choose to Work With Us

We are locally owned, which changes the day-to-day more than you might expect — you are a person here, not a number on a roster.

Flexible Scheduling

Tell us the hours that work for your life — days, evenings, overnights or weekends — and we build your schedule around them wherever assignments allow.

Meaningful Work

You are not one of hundreds on a floor. You work with a small number of clients, get to know them properly, and see the difference you make every shift.

Supportive Management

We are locally owned, so when you call the office you reach someone who knows you and your client by name. Your concerns get a real answer.

Training & Development

Orientation before your first assignment, plus ongoing training so you keep growing in the role rather than standing still.

Competitive Compensation

We pay competitively for our area. Specific pay is discussed openly during your interview, based on the role, schedule and your experience.

Respect for Caregivers

Caregiving is skilled work and we treat it that way — in how we schedule, how we communicate, and how we handle problems when they come up.

Available Shifts

Shift Types We Schedule

Tell us your availability in the application and we will match you with assignments that fit around it.

Daytime Shifts

Morning and afternoon visits supporting personal care, meals, housekeeping and companionship.

Evening Shifts

Support through the evening routine — dinner, settling in for the night and preparing for bed.

Overnight Shifts

Presence through the night for safety, bathroom trips and reassurance.

Weekend Shifts

Saturday and Sunday coverage, which works well alongside weekday commitments.

Live-In Assignments

Extended assignments residing in a client's home, with a private room and scheduled rest periods.

Short Visits & Respite

Shorter assignments covering breaks for family caregivers — a good fit if you want flexible hours.

Availability varies by area and by client need. Specific assignments, hours and pay are discussed openly during your interview.
